|HUNTINGTON, N.Y., DEC. 1, 2010 — BZ Media LLC today announced that the technical program is complete for AnDevCon™ — the Android Developer Conference, the first independent event for software developers, IT professionals and entrepreneurs who work with Android-based devices, such as smartphones and tablets.|
AnDevCon (www.AnDevCon.com) will take place in San Mateo, Calif., March 7-9, 2011. It begins with one day of intensive workshops, followed by two days of technical classes. There are more than 55 full-day workshops, half-day workshops, and deep-dive technical classes at AnDevCon. Topics range from broad-interest workshops such as “Android for Java Developers” and “Android for .NET/C# Developers,” to more advanced classes like “Creating and Using Secure and RESTful Enterprise Service” and “Android Internals, from SDK to NDK to APIs” to very specific sessions such as “High-Definition Haptics for Android Devices” and “Data Mobile Synchronization.”
Alan Zeichick, Conference Chairman of AnDevCon, said, “The conference program at AnDevCon covers a wide range – because our attendees have a wide range of interests. AnDevCon appeals to developers, who are building mobile apps and back-end infrastructure to provision them; IT professionals, who are deploying and managing Android-based devices in their organizations; and independent software developers, who are seizing the opportunities created by the tremendous growth of the Android market. Many attendees, in fact, span two or perhaps all three of these areas. If you care about building Android software, managing Android devices or capitalizing on the Android market, you belong at AnDevCon.”
The conference program, including workshops, classes, speakers and special events, is available atwww.AnDevCon.com. The conference is owned, produced and managed by BZ Media LLC, which publishes SD Times, the magazine for the software development industry. BZ Media also produces SPTechCon: The SharePoint Technology Conference, and iPhone/iPad DevCon, an independent conference focused on Apple’s mobile platforms.
AnDevCon will also have a tabletop expo area, where companies can demonstrate their products and services for Android developers.
