First SOA Use and Implementation Study
April 2007
Methodology
An e-mail was delivered to 21,000 randomly selected subscribers to SD Times inviting them to participate in a study on implementing Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). Excluding bounces, the net number of surveys delivered was 20,804. The purpose was to ascertain the use of SOA technologies in their companies, and their awareness of SOA solution vendors. The study was e-mailed on April 8, 2007, and cut off and tabulated by BZ Research on April 14, 2007. A total of 504 subscribers, or 2.4% of the respondents, completed the survey, although not all of them answered every question.
BZ Research designed, conducted and tabulated the study. BZ Research is a division of BZ Media, publisher of SD Times.
