Second AJAX Use and Buying Plans Study
July 2007

(With comparisons to the 2006 study

Methodology

An e-mail was delivered to 20,000 randomly selected subscribers to SD Times inviting them to participate in a study on AJAX. Excluding bounces, the net number of surveys delivered was 19,809.

The purpose was to ascertain the use of AJAX and "Web 2.0" or Rich Internet Application development technology in their companies and their future buying plans.

The study was e-mailed on July 20, 2007, and cut off and tabulated by BZ Research on July 31, 2007. A total of 550 subscribers, or 2.8% of the respondents, completed the survey, although not all of them answered every question. No incentive was used.

BZ Research designed, conducted and tabulated the study. BZ Research is a division of BZ Media, publisher of SD Times.
