SD Times premiers February 23, 2000. Andrew Binstock is president and principal analyst of San Carlos, Calif.-based Pacific Data Works LLC. A respected expert in the field of software development, Mr. Binstock was owner and editor in chief of The C Gazette before editing UNIX Review magazine. He then was editorial director for PriceWaterhouseCoopers's annual Technology Forecasts research reports. Mr. Binstock will be writing SD Times' middleware column. Oliver Rist is technical director of Grand Central Network, an Internet consulting company.
