BZ Media TO LAUNCH
SOFTWARE TEST & PERFORMANCE
New quarterly magazine will serve development, QA and test managers with responsibility for software testing.

Oyster Bay, N.Y., November 29, 2003 - BZ Media LLC today announced the launch of Software Test & Performance, a magazine dedicated to serving the information needs of development, quality-assurance and test managers with responsibility for software testing.
Software Test & Performance will help readers improve the efficiency of their team's software QA and testing processes, as well as help them improve the performance of their in-house applications pre- and post-deployment.
Published four times annually in a magazine format, Software Test & Performance will have a circulation of 25,000, delivering the largest audience focused on testing and software performance issues. A BPA audit of the circulation will be applied for.
Ted Bahr, President of BZ Media and Publisher of Software Test & Performance, said, "The market for test and performance tools is set to boom. Software projects continue to become larger and more complex. Software projects have become increasingly mission-critical to companies and in many industries are at the heart of a company's competitive advantage over rivals. Our role is to help those development, QA and test managers seize the opportunity and build software that can help their companies be more competitive."
Alan Zeichick, Executive Vice President of BZ Media and Editorial Director of Software Test & Performance, said, "Software risks have never been higher. Software that doesn't meet requirements, produces invalid results or that fails under load can place an enterprise in financial and even legal peril in today's business climate. Software that is so poor in quality or performance that it never gets deployed at all is a waste of scarce IT resources. The mission of Software Test & Performance is to help development, QA and test managers improve their testing processes by using the latest tools, services and methodologies."
The first issue of Software Test & Performance will appear in March 2004, with a special editorial focus on performance management. Subsequent issues in 2004 will focus on requirements management, application life cycle management and defect management.
A one-time black and white page in Software Test & Performance is $3,295. More information about Software Test & Performance, including data about the market, advertising rates, circulation, editorial calendar and writer's guidelines, is available at www.stpmag.com.
