BZ Media Enhances Management Team
Media company announces circulation director, IT/manufacturing director, magazine editor
Huntington, N.Y., April 28, 2005 - BZ Media LLC, a leading technology publisher and conference organizer, today announced three enhancements to its management team, with the hiring of Agnes Vanek as Director of Circulation, the promotion of Rebecca Pappas to Director of IT & Manufacturing and the hiring of Lindsey Vereen as Editor of Software Test & Performance Magazine.
Agnes Vanek, Director of Circulation, takes responsibility for audience development for SD Times, the newspaper of record for software development managers, and for Software Test & Performance, the leading monthly magazine for software development and test/QA professionals.
Before joining BZ Media, Ms. Vanek was a Senior Audience Development Manager for 101Communications in Falls Church, Va., with responsibility for the Federal Computer Week group of publications. She had previously worked in senior circulation management positions at Ziff-Davis, CMP Media and Bill Communications.
Rebecca Pappas, Director of IT & Manufacturing, had previously served as Director of Circulation & Manufacturing. With this move, she takes over responsibility for BZ Media's information technology infrastructure, including implementation of Web properties.
Prior to joining the startup BZ Media in 1999, Ms. Pappas had been Associate Publisher for Upper & Lower Case, published by International Typeface Corp.
Lindsey Vereen, Editor of Software Test & Performance, is responsible for all content related to the monthly magazine and its weekly Test & QA News electronic newsletter. Mr. Vereen also serves as Conference Chairman for the 2nd Annual Software Test & Performance Conference, scheduled for November 1-3, 2005, in New York City.
Mr. Vereen had previously been Editorial Director for CMP Media's Embedded Systems Programming magazine and Chairman of its Embedded Systems Conference.
