Software Test & Performance Conference Expands for 2006
Third annual event to be held Nov. 7-9, 2006, overlooking Boston at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge

Huntington, N.Y., October 19, 2005 - BZ Media LLC today announced that following the sell-out success of the Software Test & Performance Conference™ 2005 in New York, next year's event will be held in a larger facility in the Boston area.
The Software Test & Performance Conference is an independent event for software test and quality assurance managers, software development managers, and other decision-makers in software development organizations and departments. The educational program covers software test/QA and performance issues across the entire application life cycle, making this event appealing to a higher-level and more powerful audience than traditional training programs for test team members.
Next year's three-day conference will be held Nov. 7-9, 2006, at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, close to historic Kendall Square, Harvard University, Boston University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and downtown Boston.
Ted Bahr, president of BZ Media, said, "We were overwhelmed by the interest in the Software Test & Performance Conference 2005. Pre-registration filled many of the event's classrooms and tutorials to overflowing by late September. We had to find a bigger facility for 2006, and the Hyatt Regency Cambridge offered the extra space, including more and larger classrooms, needed to satisfy the pent-up demand for technical information and training."
More than 550 software development, test/QA and performance management professionals pre-registered for the Software Test & Performance Conference 2005, held Nov. 1-3, 2005, at the Roosevelt Hotel in midtown Manhattan, a 45 percent increase over the debut 2004 conference.
The Call for Speakers for the Software Test & Performance Conference 2006 is now open, and the deadline for submissions will be April 14, 2006. Prospective instructors may view the Call for Speakers at www.STPCon.com.
The Software Test & Performance Conference will include an exhibition hall, where more than 30 leading tools and services providers are expected to show their software testing and performance management solutions. The Software Test & Performance Conference is produced by BZ Media, publisher of SD Times, the twice-monthly newspaper of record for the software development industry, and Software Test & Performance Magazine, the only monthly magazine for software test/QA and performance management professionals.
