Sell-Our Crowd Flocks to Software Test & Performance
Conference 2005
Second annual conference enjoys tremendous success;
next year’s conference scheduled for November 2006, overlooking Boston at
the Hyatt Regency Cambridge

Huntington, N.Y., November 15, 2005 - BZ Media LLC
today announced that the second annual Software Test & Performance
Conference was a spectacular success at The Roosevelt Hotel in New York
City. The conference, held Nov. 1-3, 2005, drew attendees from 12
countries and 36 states, demonstrating the global appeal of the
conference, and BZ Media's global reach into the software development
industry.
With more than 300 professionals paying to attend the
sold-out three-day technical classes and tutorials, in addition to more than
200 exhibits-only registrants, the second Software Test & Performance
Conference was 68 percent larger than the debut conference held in December
2004. Thirty-six percent of attendees had Developer titles, 25 percent were
Test and Quality Assurance professionals, 22 percent were Test and QA
Managers, and 18 percent held corporate and Independent Software Vendor
titles.
The technical sessions at Software Test & Performance
Conference 2005 were filled to capacity, with more than 60 classes and
tutorials over three days. The event also had three keynote presentations,
as well as the presentation of the debut
TESTERS CHOICE awards from
Software Test & Performance
Magazine.
The Software Test & Performance Conference also drew 20
booths, including diamond sponsor Software Quality Solutions; platinum
sponsors AppLabs, Segue, Solstice and Worksoft; and gold sponsors Empirix,
LogiGear, Parasoft, Software Development Technology and Software Quality
Associates (SQA).
Ted Bahr, President of BZ Media, said, "The sell-out crowd
demonstrates that the Software Test & Performance Conference is gaining
momentum due to our emphasis on testing and performance issues from a
developer and application life-cycle management perspective. Software
development and Test/QA managers and professionals were attracted because
this conference takes the broader view of software quality."
Next year's
Software Test & Performance
Conference will be held November 7-9, 2006, at the Hyatt Regency
Cambridge, close to historic Kendall Square, Harvard University, Boston
University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and near to
downtown Boston.
