FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EclipseWorld 2006 Ready for Callisto!

Expanded EclipseWorld conference, scheduled for Sept. 6-8 in Boston, has extra classes and focus on the unprecedented Eclipse 3.2 “Callisto” launch

Huntington, N.Y., May 15, 2006 — BZ Media LLC today announced that registration is open for EclipseWorld 2006, the leading independent event for enterprise IT professionals who use Eclipse-based tools and technologies.

This year’s event will offer the industry’s first in-depth examination of “Callisto,” the simultaneous release of 10 projects from the Eclipse Foundation, including the Eclipse 3.2 platform itself.

Alan Zeichick, conference chairman for EclipseWorld 2006, and editorial director of BZ Media’s Eclipse Review magazine, said, “Eclipse has emerged as the dominant cross-platform tools for building software, and the Callisto simultaneous release will make this leading open-source platform even better. Eclipse 3.2 — and, in fact, the entire suite of 10 projects in Callisto — will help Eclipse scale up to become even more enterprise-ready than ever before, and enhance its appeal to the entire IT industry.”

EclipseWorld 2006 will be at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge on Sept. 6-8, across the river from historic Boston, Mass. With an expanded set of 60 technical classes and tutorials, this year’s conference has something for every IT professional using Eclipse-based tools and technologies, including a keynote address from Mike Milinkovich, executive director of the Eclipse Foundation.

Registration for EclipseWorld 2006 is now open at www.eclipseworld.net, and eXtreme Early Bird Registration discounts are available through June 16, offering a savings of $450 from the Full Event Passport tuition.

EclipseWorld 2006 also has an exhibition hall, and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Sponsors are encouraged to contact Donna Esposito, events director, at +1-415-785-3419 or desposito@bzmedia.com, for additional information about reaching more than 800 enterprise IT Eclipse tools buyers at EclipseWorld 2006.
