AnDevCon: The Android Developer Conference
The
first AnDevCon event, held March 7–9, 2011, overwhelmed the San Mateo Marriott.
With almost 800 registrants. The paid conference sold out with 440 paid conference
attendees taking more than 45 classes and workshops.
The exhibit space was sold out weeks before the debut event with 22 exhibitors,
including Motorola Mobility, AT&T and PayPal. Media coverage includes EE Times,
PC World, InfoWorld, the San Francisco Examiner, SD Times and Chinese Television.
Building on the overwhelming success of the initial Android Developer Conference,
BZ Media announced a larger venue and more extensive four-day conference format
for AnDevCon II. The Hyatt Regency Burlingame is significantly larger than the San
Mateo Marriott, with classroom space for more than 1,000 attendees, a much larger
expo hall, and expansive areas for keynotes and meals.
The technical program for AnDevCon II has been announced with
four keynote presentations and more than 70 classes and workshops, an increase from
45 at the debut event.
AnDevCon™ II will take place in Burlingame, Calif., on Nov. 6–9, 2011. It begins
with one full day of intensive workshops, followed by three days of technical classes.
The conference will include an exhibit floor for companies selling products and
services for Android marketers and developers. More than 1,000 software developers,
marketers and entrepreneurs are projected to attend AnDevCon II.
iPhone/iPad DevCon
iPhone/iPad DevCon is the independent
conference for enterprise and independent software developers, targeting Apple's
mobile platforms. The first iPhone/iPad DevCon was held in San Diego in 2010, and
the most recent iPhone/iPad DevCon was held in Boston in April 2011. More than 350
developers attend this conference, which is the only event with an emphasis on integrating
